Every year, I save up for 12 months for the opportunity to get away with my family for a fun week of vacation. It is something that I look forward to all year long and it is not unlike what many of my coworkers do as well. Taking a vacation gives you the opportunity to unwind and relax and this year, I decided to do something a little different.
Rather than going to one of the more popular vacation destinations, such as Orlando or Las Vegas, I decided to set my sights on a smaller area that is just south of Denver. The area that I chose was Greenwood Village, and it turned out to be one of the best vacations I ever enjoyed in my life.
First of all, I decided to visit Greenwood Village during the autumn of the year, so there was plenty of cool weather for enjoying the outdoors. Up in the higher mountain areas, which were well within reach of the place I was staying, there was some snow. In the lower lying areas, however, the weather was warmer but the trees were absolutely bursting with color.
Since Greenwood Village was just outside of Denver, it gave me the opportunity to visit that area and take advantage of what it had to offer as well. Of course, I also spent a considerable amount of time in Greenwood Village directly. Perhaps one of my favorite things in the area was the food, and regardless of whether it was a great steak or some Spanish cuisine, there was always something great on the menu.
Although there are thousands of different places to visit, I will never regret the fact that I chose to visit this area. It is beautiful and certainly has a lot to offer.
